章程及比賽規則（香港本地樂隊）

比賽形式及演出邀請
a. 凡報名參加香港區選拔賽之合資格香港隊伍均可直接參賽。評判將選出最優秀之6隊香港樂隊晉級亞太區總決賽。
b. 亞太區總決賽將由6隊香港本地樂隊與6隊來自亞太區其他國家及地區的樂隊同場較量，競逐各獎項。
c. 晉級亞太區總決賽之6隊香港樂隊，必須參與於同地（香港文化中心露天廣場C區）舉行之「Asia Pacific Sonic Surge 2026」其中一天的演出（2026年12月12日或13日），每隊演出時間預計約為30分鐘。

參賽資格
a. 樂隊所有成員年齡必須為35歲或以下（以2026年12月11日計算）。
b. 必須有超過半數成員持有香港居民身份證。
c. 樂隊須由2至6位成員組成，當中須有至少2人演奏樂器；每位參賽者僅限代表一支隊伍出賽。
d. 樂隊成員名單以報名時提交的組合為準，比賽期間不得更換或增加成員。
e. 曾參與由香港青年協會主辦「青年樂隊大賽」之隊伍，均可再次報名參加本年度賽事，惟曾獲獎之歌曲除外（詳見「參賽歌曲」）。

參賽歌曲
a. 參賽作品必須為原創歌曲，音樂形式不限，惟有關歌曲及表演不得涉及政治及宗教言論、粗言穢語、不良意識等，違規者將被取消參賽資格。
b. 參賽作品之核心旋律與歌詞主體須為人類原創，不得直接複製或採用人工智能生成之成品。
c. 晉級亞太區總決賽之香港樂隊，須沿用香港區選拔賽之同一首原創歌曲繼續參賽。
d. 每隊器材調校及演出時間總長不得超過10分鐘，逾時者將被扣分。
e. 所有曾於香港青年協會主辦之「青年樂隊大賽」中獲得前三名或單項獎之歌曲，不得再次用作參賽。

樂器和設備
a. 現場提供：結他擴音器2部、低音結他擴音器1部、電子琴1部、鼓組連鈸片及專業音響系統。
b. 參賽者須自備個人樂器及配件（如結他、低音結他、鼓棒等）。
c. 允許使用音序器、採樣器、DJ設備等各種製作類器材。
d. 參賽樂隊在整個賽事（選拔賽及總決賽）中必須選用相同之樂器組合。

評選規則
a. 大會將邀請資深音樂人擔任評判。
b. 評分標準：音樂創意（25%）、藝術演繹（25%）、團隊默契（25%）、台風與形象（25%），合共100%。
c. 恕不提供評分紙予參賽樂隊。
d. 評判團所商議之比賽結果為最終決定，參賽者不得異議。
e. 總決賽入圍名單將於11月13日在香港青年協會文化藝術組官方網站（http://csu.hkfyg.org.hk）、Instagram及Facebook 同步公佈，並以電郵另行通知入圍者。
f. 大會保留取消任何隊伍參賽資格之權利。

獎項及獎金
a. 亞太區冠、亞、季軍：依次可獲得現金獎港幣$5,000、$3,000、$2,000，以及獎盃。
b. 香港區冠、亞、季軍：依次可獲得現金獎港幣$3,000、$2,000、$1,000，以及獎盃。
c. 設最佳歌詞（香港區）、歌手、結他手、低音結他手、鼓手及鍵琴手獎項，各獲現金獎港幣$1,000。
d. 未來如有其他演出機會，均會優先考慮入圍總決賽之香港樂隊。
e. 大會保留頒發任何獎項之權利。

版權、私隱及主辦權利
a. 大會有權對比賽及演出進行攝影、錄音及錄影，並使用該素材作推廣用途。
b. 參賽者個人資料將嚴格保密，僅供是次比賽行政用途。
c. 大會保留修改比賽規章之最終權利。

香港區選拔賽報名及繳費方法
a. 報名方式：填妥網上報名表格（LINK），並繳付報名費用（每隊港幣$500）。大會將於收到報名資料後3個工作天內聯絡隊伍，核實參賽資格並提供付款詳情。
b. 報名費用一經繳交，在任何情況下均不設退款。參賽者繳交報名費用即代表同意並接受此條款。
c. 截止報名：2026年9月11日（五）香港時間中午12時正

Rules and Regulations (Hong Kong Local Bands)

Competition Format and Performance Invitations
a. All eligible Hong Kong bands applying for the Hong Kong Regional Contest will enter the selection process directly. The judging panel will select the top six Hong Kong bands to advance to the Asia Pacific Finals.
b. The Asia Pacific Finals will feature six Hong Kong bands competing on the same stage with six bands from across the Asia Pacific region to compete for the top honours.
c. The six Hong Kong bands that advance to the Asia Pacific Finals are required to perform on one of the days (either 12 or 13 December 2026) at the "Asia Pacific Sonic Surge 2026", held at the same venue. The performance duration for each band is estimated to be approximately 30 minutes.

Eligibility
a. All band members must be aged 35 or under (as of 11 December 2026).
b. At least 50% of band members must hold a valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID).
c. Bands must consist of 2 to 6 members, with at least 2 members performing on instruments. Each participant may only represent and compete for one band.
d. The band roster submitted at the time of application is final. No replacements or additions of members are permitted throughout the entire competition (both the Hong Kong Regional Contest and the Asia Pacific Finals).
e. Bands that have previously participated in the "Youth Band Sound Competition" presented by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups are welcome to re-apply, provided they do not reuse past award-winning songs (see "Song Requirements" for details).

Song Requirements
a. Entries must be original songs in any musical genre or style. However, the songs and performances must not contain any political or religious remarks, profanity, or inappropriate content. Violation will result in immediate disqualification.
b. The core melody and main lyrics of the entry must be of entirely human origin, and must not directly copy or employ AI-generated outputs.
c. For Hong Kong bands advancing to the Asia Pacific Finals, the competition song must remain unchanged from the original submission during the initial application and be performed in the Hong Kong Regional Contest.
d. The total time allocated per band (including equipment setup, soundcheck, and performance) is 10 minutes. Points will be deducted for any overtime.
e. Any song that has previously won a top 3 placement or an individual award in the past "Youth Band Sound Competition" is ineligible for the 2026 edition.

Instruments and Equipment
a. The Presenter will provide the following backline: 2 guitar amplifiers, 1 bass amplifier, 1 electronic keyboard, 1 drum kit with cymbals, and a professional PA system.
b. Participants must bring their own personal instruments and accessories (e.g., guitars, bass, drumsticks).
c. The use of sequencers, samplers, DJ equipment, and other production gear is permitted.
d. Bands must maintain the same instrumentation and setup throughout the entire competition (both the Hong Kong Regional Contest and the Asia Pacific Finals).

Judging Criteria and Regulations
a. A panel of music professionals will serve as judges.
b. Scoring Rubric (Total 100%): Musical Creativity (25%), Artistic Execution (25%), Band Synergy (25%), and Stage Presence & Style (25%).
c. Score sheets will NOT be distributed to the participants.
d. The decisions of the judging panel are final and absolute. No objections will be entertained.
e. The finalist list will be announced on 13 November on the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups - Cultural Services Unit's official website (http://csu.hkfyg.org.hk), Instagram and Facebook. Finalists will also be notified via email.
f. The Presenter reserves the right to disqualify any participating band at its sole discretion.

Awards and Prizes
a. Asia Pacific Regional Champion, 2nd Place, 3rd Place: Cash prizes of HKD $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 respectively, along with trophies.
b. Hong Kong Regional Champion, 2nd Place, 3rd Place: Cash prizes of HKD $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 respectively, along with trophies.
c. Individual Awards: Best Lyrics (Hong Kong), Vocalist, Guitarist, Bassist, Drummer, and Keyboardist will each receive HKD $1,000.
d. The Presenter will give priority consideration to Hong Kong finalist bands and make recommendations regarding future performance opportunities.
e. The Presenter reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the presentation of any awards.

Copyright, Privacy, and Rights Reserved
a. The Presenter reserves the right to photograph, audio record, and video record all competition events, performances, and related festival activities, and to utilise these materials for promotional and archival purposes.
b. Personal data collected will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for competition administration.
c. The Presenter reserves the final right to modify or amend these regulations at any time without prior notice.

Application and Payment Method (Hong Kong Regional Contest)
a. Complete the online application form (LINK) and settle the entry fee (HKD $500 per band). The Presenter will contact the band within 3 working days upon receiving the application details to verify eligibility and provide payment instructions.
b. The entry fee is strictly non-refundable once settled. By settling the entry fee, applicants agree to and accept this condition.
c. Application Deadline: 11 September 2026 (Fri) at 12:00 NN (HKT)
